Green Beans Anyone?

This morning (before it got hot) we picked a LOT of green beans at our Grandparents' garden.

We'll be snapping green beans for a while! I've got to go snap beans now or we'll be up until midnight.

Oh My goodness. Look at those Green beans AND Samuel. He is getting SO big.

Question: What kind of beans have you been more successful with this year. We planted some. Some were okay and some were less than adequate. Which beans are better for the winter gardens?

Thanks

Wow! That's quite a load of green beans!

Samuel seems to like them. Happy snapping! :P

We're still trying out new bean varieties ourselves. We planted Kentucky Wonder green beans this spring (and a couple of years before), and Rattlesnake beans last year, and they've done well for us.

We aren't planting any more beans this fall, and I never have before, so I'm afraid I can't help on that point.
