Oh My goodness. Look at those Green beans AND Samuel. He is getting SO big.
Question: What kind of beans have you been more successful with this year. We planted some. Some were okay and some were less than adequate. Which beans are better for the winter gardens?
We're still trying out new bean varieties ourselves. We planted Kentucky Wonder green beans this spring (and a couple of years before), and Rattlesnake beans last year, and they've done well for us.
We aren't planting any more beans this fall, and I never have before, so I'm afraid I can't help on that point.

How many qts did you end up canning of those beans??
We canned 14 quarts and froze 8 quarts.
